My Message
​
This series of paintings are taken from a variety of sketches that I have done while out walking. My intention has been to recreate a painting from these shapes, some of which are in the form of an abstract picture.
​
The process of a recreating these forms is by using my sketches as a starting point and developing them into a painting using the basics of what is in my sketchbook.
​
As some of these paintings will be possible to recognise as having a trace of objective reality others will be regarded as a painting and nothing else.
​
Therefore some of the paintings will remain figurative and others seen as an abstract form.
